NEW	Squadron Sponsoring Committee AGM, 16 January 2019, 7 pm	The 754 Phoenix SSC Annual General Meeting (AGM) is 7 pm, 16 January 2019, in the Moody Elementary School library It is important that all screened members attend as we need quorum to hold our election. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. As well as the board election, there will be reports from the CO, SSC chair, and treasurer; information about activities and teams, summer camps, etc., and opportunities to have your questions answered. Please see agenda. We look forward to seeing you.
NEW	Effective Speaking	Effective Speaking Course starts in January on Tuesday nights, 7 – 9 pm, at Moody Elementary for six sessions from January 8 to February 12. Open to all 754 cadets (any age or level) Sign up is posted to bulletin board in gym The course is open to ten cadets maximum. Cadets will be contacted to confirm if they have a spot in the course. Squadron Effective Speaking Competition, February 19, is open to course participants. Participation in competition is optional, but recommended.
	Summer Training	Summer training signups are online. Fill out the appropriate applications here. Deadlines for summer training are 16 Jan 19, and Staff Cadet applications are 9 Jan 19.
	High School Credits	Completion of some Cadet Training Levels, specialty summer courses, and Duke of Edinburgh awards are eligible for grade 10, 11, and 12 Secondary School Course credits. Complete application form found here to submit to the office.
