Parade Subject Details
Tue PC Retesting
  • All rifle handling re-testing for Level 1s will occur next week.
  • All Level 3/4 IT and Drill Mutual retesting also next week.
Wed Level 1 Testing
  • GCK Test will occur on 27 Apr 16 during regular training; study package can be found here
  • Level 1 who missed the Rifle Handling Testing may attend the Tue session (12 Apr 16). Cadets must contact Lt Wong at yui-chung.wong@cadets.gc.ca to sign-up before Sat morning
Tue+Wed Band Comp Practice
  • All cadets should review the routine and practice the music prior practices
  • Sunday practice (10 Apr 16) from 1330 to 1630; see calendar for more details
Tue+Wed Summer Training
  • Summer Training selections are now complete; we will inform you when we receive the Offer of Participation
  • Cadets that were not selected during the initial submission will be considered for Spare; we will inform you when we receive additional spots
  • Summer Training Briefing for all cadets that were selected and their parents on 2 Jun 16 at Maillard Middle School. Information about what to pack, joining instructions, and movement orders if they are ready will be distributed.
Tue+Wed Trophy Return
  • Cadets who received 754 Awards last June, on Awards Night, please return your trophies by the end of April.  Return to the squadron offices at either the Moody or Maillard locations.
Tue+Wed April 23 Gliding
  • Please check here to see if you were selected for the gliding session coming up on April 23.
  • Bus transport is provided, pick up is at Moody Elementary at 0800, and will return at 1330.
  • If you can no longer attend, please let the office know ASAP. As a reminder, if you were able to go up in a flight last gliding session, your name was taken off future sign ups to ensure as many cadets get to go at least once this year.
Tue+Wed Robotics and RC Team
  • Sign up available here.
  • This team will run every Thursday from 14 Apr 16, to 26 May 16 from 1900-2100 at Moody Elementary.
Tues+Wed Cadet Pianist Needed!
  •  The Air Cadet League of Canada, BC Provincial Committee will be assisting with the hosting of The Air Cadet League of Canada’s President’s Dinner on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the River Rock Hotel & Casino in Richmond. This is an evening event to start at approximately 6:00pm (time to be confirmed). They are looking for a talented Air Cadet to play the piano as background music during the Saturday evening Dinner.  If you think you have the talent to do so, please see application form for more information on how to apply.

Tue+Wed High School Work Experience Program
  • The Air Cadet League in partnership with the Aerospace Industry is offering a High School Work Experience Program to cadets in grade 11, or 12 that will provide them the opportunity to gain 40 hours of voluntary work experience in either an aerospace technical maintenance facility or airport operations environment.  This work experience will also fulfill the 30 hours work experience and community service requirement for graduation.
