COVID RESTRICTION UPDATE – We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation and hope to have news about limited in-person training soon – keep alert!
FIRST NAME SURVEY – As we get ready to set up your Cadet 365 computer accounts, we need to know everyone’s preferred FIRST name that they will be using. Please see Teams for the link to the survey. Deadline is 15 Feb 2022.
WARRANT OFFICER MERIT REVIEW BOARDS – We have set up Review Boards for those Flight Sergeants wanting to be considered for promotion to Warrant Officer 2nd Class. These will be virtual on Wednesday evenings (16 Feb, 23 Feb, 2 Mar, 9 Mar). Sign up information is on Teams, Level 5 channel. Cut off for signing up will be the Monday evening before each week’s boards.
LEVEL 5 WORKSHOPS – All level 5’s are required to take the PO 513 workshop. All level 5’s that have not taken the workshops should have received an email on Wednesday from Capt Chiang. Please check for that and respond accordingly.
CADET MARINE SMALL ENGINE REPAIR COURSE – RCSU (our HQ) is looking to see if there is interest in this course, even among non-Sea Cadets. It is a TWO YEAR summer course (5 weeks this summer and 5 weeks next summer) and you would have to commit to BOTH summers. A great opportunity if a career in boats is an interest. You must have finished Grade 10. See the Teams announcement for details.
