NEW	Air Rifle Handling Test	All Level 1 and accelerated Level 2 need to complete the Air Rifle Handling Test in order to pass their levels Testing will be conducted on selected Sundays in March at the Range Sign-up will be posted soon, and the list of attending cadets will be posted shortly after that

	ACLC Post-Secondary Scholarships	Air Cadet League of Canada offers three (3) Post-Secondary Scholarships for Air Cadets in grade 12 who will be graduating this year and attending a post-secondary institution next year.   The awards are open to students that are members of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets during the year of application, and they are awarded on the basis of secondary school scholastic achievement, combined with outstanding performance as an Air Cadet. Application can be found at ACLC website   Application submission due date is 01 April 2017
	754 Phoenix SSC Post-Secondary Scholarships	754 Phoenix Squadron Sponsoring Committee is offering four $500 Post-Secondary Scholarships to Grade 12 cadet members of 754 Phoenix Squadron.  Scholarships will be awarded based mainly on cadet performance and service to 754 Phoenix Squadron and the air cadet program in general. Scholarship Application submission due date is 05 April 2017
	Effective Speaking Winter Session	Effective Speaking Course for cadets who wish to participate in the 754 Phoenix Squadron Effective Speaking Competition runs for 6 weeks, beginning, Tuesday, January 10 at Moody Elementary School Library from 7 to 9 pm.  See website calendar for more details Squadron Effective Speaking Competition is February 21 at Moody Elementary Library, 6:30 pm.
