Parade Subject Details
Tues+Wed Poppy Tagging
  • Sign-up available here
  • All cadets are welcome to sign-up for more than 1 shift
  • This is a great opportunity for cadets who are looking to build their community service and volunteer hours
Tues+Wed Scholarship Courses
  • All scholarship applicants need to read through the preparation package that was shared with you after signing up.
  • Start getting resume, medical, and report card documentation ready.
Tue+Wed Name Tag Ordering
  • Fill out a “Name Tag Order Form” and submit it to your SSC before the end of October to receive them by mid-November
  • New Recruits check the New Recruit Name List posted in the gym on training night .  If your name is spelled correctly put a check beside it.  If it is not spelled correctly, neatly write the correct spelling of your name on the list.  Your first name tag is free of charge.  Name dags will be ordered at the end of October, arriving in November.
Tues+Wed High School Work Experience Program
  • This program offers opportunities for secondary school students, 15 years of age and above and gr. 11 or 12, the opportunity to receive 40 hours of voluntary work experience in an aerospace technical maintenance facility or airport operation environment.
  • This work experience will fulfill the 30 hours work experience and community service requirement for graduation.

Tues+Wed Cadet Long Service Medal and Bars and Rosettes
  • If you are eligible for Cadet Long Service Medal or bar and rosettes please fill in application. Order is going out at the end of October.  Order forms can be found in the gym on training night or at the office.  They can also be found on the ACL BCPC Website.

  • Working on First Aid Qualifications before December, competition team will be selected and practice in the new year
22 Oct 15 Biathlon Practice Town Center Stadium
  • 1800 hrs – 1930 hrs
  • All cadets welcome, dress warmly and be prepared for the weather!
24 Oct 15 Gliding Pitt Meadows Airport
  • 1200 hrs  – 1730 hrs
  • Bus is provided; drop-off and pick-up will be at Moody Elementary
  • Wear appropriate civilian clothing for the weather

31 Oct 15 Recruit Training Day Kyle Centre, 125 Kyle Street, Port Moody
  • 0900 hrs – 1600 hrs
  • All recruits (Tue and Wed) are required to attend this training day
  • Cadets eligible to challenge Level 1 will write the Acceleration Test on this day
