Update – 5 Apr

FIRST AID TRAINING – We have secured 18 spots to qualify cadets for St Johns Ambulance Standard First Aid. This course is being funded by the Sponsoring Committee so there is no cost to cadets. This course will be on the weekend of 6-7 May – it is from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm each day, and is being held in Port Moody. Please go here to apply. Priority will be given to senior cadets. Cadets have to be 14 years or older as of Dec 31st 2023 to take this course. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE BOTH DAYS TO SIGN UP! Successful applicants will be informed.

TROPHY RETURN – Any cadets that received a big trophy at last year’s ACR are requested to return them to the Squadron next week so we can get them ready for this year’s winners.

WARRANT OFFICER MERIT REVIEW BOARDS – We will hold these on Wed 19 Apr, Wed 26 Apr, and Wed 3 May. Signup at this link.

SUMMER CAMP APPLICATIONS (level 3+) – Please see the 17 Mar post on the left for details on In person and Online summer training courses. Get your applications in now! Deadline is 12 Apr 23. Please go to this link. Anyone who has applied already may resubmit with the new options in mind.

SUMMER CAMP APPLICATIONS (level 1 and 2) – Dates for the Cadet Activity Program have been announced for the summer. They will be held locally in the Tri-Cities area. For cadets finishing Level 1, the dates are 3-7 July 2023 (as far as we know they will run on Mon 3 Jul even thought that is a statutory holiday since Canada Day is on a Saturday). For cadets finishing Level 2, the dates are 16-24 Aug 2023. These are the only dates that are available. Cadets need to be able to be available for all the dates of the courses. Please apply here.
