Closing Parade Announcements

Parade Subject Details
Tues+Wed Poppy Tagging
  • Sign-up available here
  • Please try to sign up for at least one shift and show our support for our Legions. There is still lots of room on all days for tagging.
Tues+Wed Scholarship Courses
  • All scholarship applicants must submit their resume by Nov 11. (Guidelines are available on the BCPC website)
  • If you would like Lt Chiang or Lt Rosario to look it over, bring a printed out copy on your training nights next week (Nov 3/4)
Tue+Wed Name Tag Ordering
  • Fill out a “Name Tag Order Form” and submit it to your SSC before the end of October to receive them by mid-November
  • New Recruits check the New Recruit Name List posted in the gym on training night .  If your name is spelled correctly put a check beside it.  If it is not spelled correctly, neatly write the correct spelling of your name on the list.  Your first name tag is free of charge.  Name tags will be ordered at the end of October, arriving in November.
Tues+Wed Cadet Long Service Medal and Bars and Rosettes
  • If you are eligible for Cadet Long Service Medal or bar and rosettes please fill in application. Order is going out at the end of October.  Order forms can be found in the gym on training night or at the office.  They can also be found on the ACL BCPC Website.
 Tues+Wed  High School Work Experience Program
  •  The Air Cadet League in partnership with the Aerospace Industry is offering a High School Work Experience Program to cadets 15 years and older in grade 11, or 12 that will provide them the opportunity to gain 40 hours of voluntary work experience in either an aerospace technical maintenance facility or airport operations environment.  This work experience will also fulfill the 30 hours work experience and community service requirement for graduation.
  • Work Experience opportunities will be offered in March and April 2016
  • Applications will be posted to the BCPC Website by the Middle of November 2015.

31 Oct 15 Recruit Training Day Kyle Centre, 125 Kyle Street, Port Moody
  • 0900 hrs – 1600 hrs
  • All recruits (Tue and Wed) are required to attend this training day
  • Cadets eligible to challenge Level 1 will write the Acceleration Test on this day
