2016 Spring Tag Days

Cadets

A reminder to all cadets and parents that 754 Phoenix–both Tuesday and Wednesday–will be having Tag Days on both Saturday, February 27, 2016 and Sunday, February 28, 2016. It is mandatory for all cadets to attend at least 1 full-day, or 2 half-day shifts; otherwise, you must speak with an officer immediately. Sign-up sheets are posted on the bulletin board at your respective parade nights.

DETAILS

  • Dress of the day is C1A (Full Dress Uniform with ribbons)
    • Cadets without proper uniform shall wear white dress shirt, black dress pants, and black dress shoes
    • Level 1 with uniforms must ensure that your shoulder flashes are sewn onto your tunic
  • Bring your parka and gloves for your Tag Day shift(s)
  • Water and light snacks are provided, as well full day cadets will receive $5 toward lunch
  • Shift breakdown are as follows:
    • Morning (half-day): 0900 to 1330 hrs
    • Afternoon (half-day): 1300 to 1700 hrs
    • Full day: 0900 to 1700 hrs
  • All cadets must arrive at Moody Elementary (2717 St Johns Street, Port Moody) before the start of your Tag Day shift
    • Full day and Morning half-day shifts must arrive by 9:00am
    • Afternoon half-day shifts must arrive by 1:00 pm

Parents

Tag Day Fundraisers are very important to the cadets of 754, as the money raised helps support the upkeep of our programs and activities for our cadets. Because of this, we would appreciate all the assistance from the parents of our cadets. In particular, we are looking for Parent Drivers and Supervisors. Brief description of each task is listed below.

  • Parent Drivers are expected to transport assigned cadets to and from the Tag Shift Location. Parent drivers are also expected to arrive at Moody Elementary (2717 St Johns Street, Port Moody) before the start of the shift, and return back with your assigned cadets by the end of the shift.
  • Parent Supervisors are expected to assist in supervising in locations where adult supervision is required. Shifts will be 2.5 hours only. (NOTE:  Only screened members may supervise.)
